My Fellow ROCKologists:

Sharon, Cassie the Dog, and I are sending this message from Gatesville,
Texas.  On our way down from Indiana, we stopped at a place called
Grapevine, Texas to see the railroad museum there.  Those who attended the
joint convention in Fort Worth a few years back, might remember it.  I did
not, until I saw the name Tarantula printed on the side of one of the
passenger cars and the statute of the "Kissers" out front of the depot. 
To my surprise, it was the same railroad that the group rode to the
stockyards as one of our excursion tours at the convention.  Another
life's journey has come full circle.  I took some more pictures of course
and got a close-up of the working steam engine.

Weather report:  It is still cool here 33 deg. or so and it snowed on Good
Friday [got pictures].  I told the kids that we wanted to come down before
it gets hot, but I did not count on snow.
