[RITSlist] Need info

[Gene Koder]

Received a call from Paul McGivein Davenport IA.   He is inquiring about photos of the head on accident at Colfax Iowa in 1950.  His Dad was engr on wrecker and since they had one working from both ends, he is not sure if Des Moines or Silvis wrecker.   His brother had photos that were taken from about every angle of the accident.   His brother got the photos from someone else and one photo showed their Dad sitting in the cab of the work train.  The photos were destroyed in a fire and Paul is inquiring if anyone has the original set or negatives or maybe any link that he could maybe find photos of the accident.
