Apparently, all traffic will stop for a period of time on December 28  
for maintenance.  Here is a portion of an announcement from management:

"On Friday, December 28 from 9 am-3 pm, all network services will be  
unavailable while we do an upgrade on the network storage servers.   
This will affect printing, email, network folders, personal websites,  
wireless, StormFront, the new Portal, Colleague, Benefactor and  
Informer."

Be governed accordingly,
