[RITSlist] Sheffield, IA, caboose

Hi,

I only know of one caboose in/near Sheffield, IA, which was reported to me as "wood, cupola, no trucks, poor condition, RI 17984, Bill Eno, 15304 105th St."

I know and said nothing about the Depot but assume it's in or was in Sheffield.  

Are you saying there's a caboose at the Depot in Sheffield?

  You are confusing the former RI caboose located on a farm north of Sheffield with the former depot.  The caboose is in sad shape per what the owner has told me.  Although I have been on the farm, I have never been in the caboose or very close to it, but it looks rather shopworn.
