PLEASE BE ADVISED THE ACTIVITIES MENTIONED BELOW ARE TENTATIVE AND  
THE INFORMATION IS NOT COMPLETE AS WE ARE GETTING COSTS ON BUS  
RENTALS FOR THE TRIPS. BUT THERE HAS BEEN ENOUGH INTEREST TO WARRANT  
GETTING INFORMATION OUT TO THE MEMBERSHIP

Activities: (Tentatively Planned)
Thursday: 9-27 RITS Board of Directors Meeting
Informal get together for slides socializing in evening. RITS and any  
early arriving GMOHS members welcome to attend

Friday 9-28 Metra Train ride from Joliet-Chicago on Rock Island and  
Chicago-Joliet on the GM&O.

Social get together with slides brought by members RITS members are  
also encouraged to bring any GM&O slides
GMOHS members are also encouraged to bring and Rock Island slides.

Saturday: 9-29 Swap meet.  Model contest,
Bus trip to Lake Shore Model Railroad Club (HO Scale) This layout is  
equipped with Digitraxx DCC. Anyone wishing to run trains on this  
clubs layout are welcome to do so provided that: you engines are DCC  
equipped you will be limited to freight engines and caboose only the  
club will provide the freight cars. Passenger trains are welcome but  
keep them to no more than 10 cars. If you have a Digitraxx controller  
will be a plus but is not necessary.

RITS membership meeting
Joint RITS/GMOHS banquet

Costs: $30.00 gets you admittance to the banquet and swap meet

Swap meet tables:      1     Table $15.00
                        2-5   Table $20.00 each
                        6     Tables $100.00

Metra train trip cost will be $10.00 plus cost of bus transportation  
from hotel to Joliet and return.

We need a count no later than 9-1-07 for both the train ride and ride  
to Lake Shore model railroad club.

After 9-1-07 those wanting to take the train ride are welcome to join  
us but will be responsible for their own train fare and  
transportation if not enough room on bus.
