[RITSlist] Eldon/Floris Iowa question

Hello all,

I have a question for those of you that are familiar with the Eldon, Iowa
area. For years, there has been a boxcar sitting right next to the old
railroad grade between Eldon and Floris, Iowa, right near where the old
grade crossed the Eldon/Floris hwy. Does anyone know the story on how this
boxcar came to rest here. Was there a minor derailment here years ago or was
it used as some sort of makeshift maitenance building? If anyone knows the
story, let me know, have driven past it for years and always wondered how it
got there.
