[RITSlist] Rock Island S1 switchers 598-599

Bill,

 

April 1, 1965 Assignment Sheet shows both S-1's assigned to the Arkansas
Div.

All of the BL-2's are assigned to the Chicago Div.  I have a 1961
Assignment Sheet

and will check that and get back to you.  Not quite the time period you
are interested in

but I believe the S-1's were always assigned to the Arkansas Div.

Does anyone have information (division assignment sheets, photos, etc.?)
which would give any indication of assignment of these two switchers
from the time they were acquired from Pullman Railroad (January 1950)
through about 1958?

 

I'm also looking for specific division assignments of the BL2s (425-429)
from 1952-1958.
