The term "deep pockets" applies here for sure. 

Anyone who is serious about these units must understand that the repairs 
just for cosmetic restoration are going to reach at least five figures.  
Operating restoration puts that over six, maybe into seven figure land.

Tom Klimczak evaluation is right on the mark.  For the latter to occur 
both would need complete rebuilds hopefully giving them at least a 567 D 
configuration if not hybrid using 645 parts ala BN.  Not to mention new 
brakes, electrics, etc. Don't let anyone tell you it can be done on the 
cheap!

For those at RITS who want to take them to Savannah, be cautious.  
Remember, the facility is only leased, it might not be wise to put in 
such massive displays.  To move them later could be a killer.

And speaking of moving equipment, a friend spent more on moving his unit 
about 500 miles that it cost.  And that didn't include the money spent 
on getting it ready for interchange.
