[RITSlist] Rock Island moonlighting and other old head stuff from the Rock Island

Heres a couple off the top of my head and am sure more will come later.

When I first hired out, Art Neubauer, a clerk at Iowa Falls taught me a lot of short cuts.  Art moonlighted at the Iowa Falls Sales barn.  On Wednesdays, Art would work right up until time to report to the depot and than come to work, still wearing the boots which came up to his knees and still covered with the spoils (and smells) from the sales barn.

Lester Earp clerk at Armourdale yard KC, moonlighted at a trucking company in Kansas City KS for many years.  He tried to form a union at the company and was "let go".
