[RITSlist] Surviving RI hopper

Today while driving between Pratt and Haviland, I spotted this hopper train and this RI car as seen here.  The train was holding the mainline at Wellsford after an eastbound stacktrain had met it and passed on the siding there.  Evidently they were still awaiting another eastbound as they were still idle and holding down the main when I passed them.

  Hi, I came across this GREAT looking ex-Rock Island grain car today in Topeka, KS.  It's actually on ex-RI trackage here and headed geographically south, but RR-West and about to cross the Kansas River on the Golden State route.
