[RITSlist] Passenger car - Jane Marie

The Jane Marie is former coach car # 330 which was named Des Moines. This was built by Pullman Standard in 1947 and was part of a 16 car order (#6764) it was a 68 seat coach(plan 7522) and were built for the general passenger car pool, meaning they were not built for any specific train.It was also one of the last passenger cars on the Rock when it shuitdown in 1980.
   
  The car is owned by RITS member Bart Barton who restored the car and while it looks like a coach from the outside it is more or less a travelling 2 bedroom home with all the amenities.very nice looking on the inside.
