[RITSlist] Converting slides to jpeg or better

I have used a number of scanners to scan slides and nothing worked well until I purchased the Konica Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV.  You can only scan four slides at a time, but the quality is very good.  I can make good enlargements of 13 x 19 for frame prints.  I do however, save them as a TIFF file for much better quality.

I think (?) the Minolta is no longer made. Maybe someone else can jump in here who knows. What dpi do you scan at Dan?
