[RITSlist] Boys and their Toys - Cedar Falls Meet

Susan and I went to the Cedar Falls meet on a rainy Saturday  
morning.  Lee Bertholf, the organizer of this affair for 14 years,  
has some serious back problems and wasn't able to attend his own  
meet.  He was missed and we wish him a speedy recovery!

Many of us in RITS can only make models of the railroad we love, but  
parked north of the meeting location in front of the old RI depot  
were two 12" to the foot examples of what Rock Island fans can do.   
Dan Sabin brought IANR 678, done up in a Rock paint scheme, and Timm  
Grimm had his RI 73079 high-railer nearby.
