[RITSlist] Rock Island F unit use in the late 70's

I have a photo of F7 #124 in Topeka on 8-11-73. Have photos of F9's #4161 in wichita 9-74, #4163 at kansas city 10-64, #4165 Wichita 9-74. There is a locomotive power assignment somewhere out there on the internet from 1-74. It list F7A's 117,118,123,124 to the Southern Division. F9B's 4100-4111 and F9A's 4150-4168 also to the Southern Division. FP7's 403-409, F7 675-676  to Chicago.

  Where did the Rock Island F-units call home in the late 1970's particularly 1979?  Did they make their way anywhere near Belleville or Topeka, Kansas?  Were they used for regular freight service?  Thank you.
