If you will review the beginning of this thread, you will see that it was 
started by one of the surviving RITS officers, and it is thus logical to assume 
that the present RITS administration found it acceptable to share their bit of 
disheartening information with this list for public comment -- knowing that 
this list includes both RITS and non-RITS members.  Ideally, this sort of 
internal organizational issue would indeed be handled by a private list, but in the 
absence of a member-only list for RITS business, this RITS list will have to 
do double-duty.  You might wish to consider exercising your delete key if this 
is a subject in which you have no interest. 
 
Your suggestion that members should contact the RITS board is a good one.
