Hello, Margo and All -
If you have internet access you can go to www.ebay.com then follow a path
from 'buy' to 'collectibles' to 'transportation' to 'railroadiana,trains' 
and
search "Rock Island".  There are 230 items listed this morning as Rock 
Island.  You can also follow 'buy' to 'toys and hobbies' to 'model trains' 
and search.  There are 248 items listed this morning for Rock Island.
Someone in the Kansas City area will, hopefully, give you information on the 
next railroadiana show and sale in that neck of the woods.  There are 
several each year here in the Chicago area.
The Rock Island Technical Society operates a "Company Store" which sells a 
range of books, society magazines and calendars, and other items.  You can 
call them at 815-273-4013 or write to them at 18933 "A" Street, Savanna, IL 
61074.
