Many passenger runs required only about 2 hours on duty.?? Eldon to Quad Cities and to Trenton would be examples.?? Des Moines to Omaha and Omaha to Fairbury, Fairbury to P'burg, P'burg to Goodland would be others.?? Also? Caldwell to El Reno and El Reno to Waurika.?? These were all in the 100-125 mile category.

No wonder the railroads went broke on passenger runs with such few hours of work out of an engine crew.?? lwa
