Hello, Tom - Rock Island 160 was an ALCo FA-1 built in October of 1948.  In the mid-'50s it was repowered by EMD and renumbered 141.  So your photo would be from that 1948 to 1955 time frame.  If you get any other responses you could scan the photo and e-mail it out.  (Scans won't make it thru on RITSlist).  Someone should be abel to pin down the location.  PAW

  I am wondering if you can help me learn more about the power and possibly the location it depicts?

  The picture shows rock Island #160 coming out of a dual track area and the visible signal tower shows yellow/caution.  I noticed the signal tower has a number on it - 120- possibly the milepost.



  I could take a photo of the print and email it to you if that would help you to identify the area it depicts.
