All

Back when I was last a Karen's in Feb. I took about 12-15 copies of each Digest that was available, Then I took at least 10 copies of each Rocket that was available still leaving Karen at that time some Rocket's for new members. Also I took a box that I put together of Data sheets for the Cedar Falls meet in 2006 that had a bout 20 copies of each data sheet.

All this with intention of sellingat the 207 meet and with Karen now gone this stuf would havebeen returned to company store at end of convention.

Some of the stuff I had also taken one extra box of Digest 14 to sell at $5.00 a piece due to having so many of this item.

I was sort of hoping that we would have sold a bit more than what we did at the meet.

Also into this mix was 50 copies of the RI Diesel locomotive book which we bought hoping to sell at convention. I'm tols we only sold about 4-5 copies. So these went into the CO. store Inventory.

  Steve.

  Dick,

I know Jack has plenty of everything at the Company Store. What I brought home was all stuff that Steve Suhs had taken from Karen's to have available for sale at the convention. Neither Jack nor I knew how much stuff Steve had brought from Karen's. When it came time to pack up, Steve said it all goes to Jack for the Company Store; but, Jack didn't need it and did not have room for it in his small vehicle. I'm fine with it staying here; everything is safe and dry. I'm just looking to board members to come up with ideas of ways to increase sales of over 1200 back issues of publications.

I'm currently getting 50 copies of new publications as they come off the press. This is fine; no need to change that.

Jerry, I have a suggestion -- Send your surplus to the
Company Store c/o Jack Carson. In order to prevent
overstocking you in the future how many copies of an
issue can you handle? Notice I have copied in Jack so
he will be aware of your situation.
