[RITSlist] PDF program

The full Adobe program includes  creation of PDF files.  Adobe  Reader, which 
is free, only allows you  to read PDF files.  If you want to create them with 
the Adobe program you  have to pay.
 
      I recently had to get a new  computer and it came with Open Office 
Writer installed.  I have been  reading the manual and it says it will create PDF 
files.  Those files, if I  read the manual right, will open fine on Adobe 
Reader but do not allow the  manipulation on Reader that can be done with files 
created by the Adobe  program.
