[D & L Fowler]

When I was a lad, my father had a number of books and booklets  
authored by "A Man", published by the Rock Island Railroad.

My grandfather, Stanley G. Fowler, worked for the Rock Island in the  
Eighties, and wrote and published a number of books, pamphlets, etc.   
I have often wondered if he may have been "A Man", the author of  One  
of the Genii,  and pamphlets about coal mining, glass making, gas  
production, petroleum wells, and perhaps others I don;t know about.

Any information about this would be of interest.
