I have 8mm movies I took when we rode the mixed train from Grundy Center
to Iowa Falls and return.   I can still hear the colorful profanity used
by the conductor was reported to be an American Indian, or had a was part
American Indian.    This trip happened in June, 1961.  We clocked them at
48 mph.
