[RITSlist] Rock Island caboose #17688 information

Here is some information that may help a little. According to Rock 
Island's June 1. 1977 Freight Car Data Book, your caboose is from series 
17651-17699. and it was built in 1943 with a length of 28'-6". Capy in 
tons is 40.
That's all the information I have, maybe some of the others can add 
additional information.
