[RITSlist] Intermountain new releases

Folks-
There were no red FP7A's. They were all maroon with striping or yellow winged noses at the end of their careers with the RI. As far as I can tell, there never were any red units with anything other than "speed lettering", or slanted ROCK ISLAND-type. The last three being used prior to being traded on new power in the 1975-76 era, the 403, 406, and 409 were basically maroon.

  In viewing these pics, the first one of 420 makes me think it was maroon.  However, the ones for 403 cinfirms that is was red.

  The other pics you listed confirms it was red!

  Ok guys, it's your choice whether or not to go with Intermountain's release.
