[RITSlist] Intermountain new releases

I don't think that there are any of the "Chicago Red" colors involved her, just variations of light, film, weathering and computer monitors. There are some good examples of Chicago Red at Jeff Prince's paint scheme site, such as

http://www.rockisl.com/cgi-bin/display.asp?f=1&e=1&n=100

Intermountain's bigger challenge may be that 410 and 406 have only one headlight while 402, 403 and 409 have the second headlight in the nose door.

And did you notice that 409 apparently got relettered in 1975 with a small R and I? Jeff Prince notes this as a variation on its site at

http://www.rockisl.com/cgi-bin/display.asp?f=1&e=1&n=151

Is someone going to confirm some of this with Intermountain?

Regards,
Steve Hile

The ones that appear to be a dark red, must be the "Chicago Red" as Dave Engles calls it, and mentioned the fact that two or three he had listed as "Chicago Red".. The ones that appear to be almost brown, must then the the weathered maroon.
