  Folks-
  There were no red FP7A's. They were all maroon with striping or yellow winged noses at the end of their careers with the RI. As far as I can tell, there never were any red units with anything other than "speed lettering", or slanted ROCK ISLAND-type. The last three being used prior to being traded on new power in the 1975-76 era, the 403, 406, and 409 were basically maroon.
