Confirming the info in Dr. Marre's book, it is the 407 that was wrecked then 
traded in; I cannot remember which wreck it was, but I think that info is 
available.

One time in the early 60s, when my dad was still alive, we were sitting out 
in the yard, and we could hear #7 coming west from the depot.  (MP322.5, 
SubDiv. 4) We realized before we saw the train that there was an F-unit in 
the consist, not just the usual E-8s and E-7s.  When we saw the train come 
out from behind the neighbor houses, the lead engine the oddball.  We never 
heard why, but obviously there had to have been a last-minute substitution 
of the usual 650-series E-8 by this one--yep, the 407.  It may be the only 
time an F unit lead the AB-6 on 7 and 8.
