I do not remember hearing of any mid-route equipment changes, but don't take just my word for that, please.  You had the same kind of run-through at Burlington on that line as you did with 3 and 4 at Tucumcari once they decided to eliminate that engine swithout.  DJE

  Thanks for the great info guys.  I still have one question (for now :) that wasn't answered.

  Did the locomotives for this train run all the way to the ends?  In other words, would you see CB&Q locomotives North of Burlington, IA (all the way to Minneapolis) and CRI&P locomotives South of Burlington (all the way to St. Louis)?
