Several of us rode the last train from Waterloo to West Branch, holding 
round trip tickets planning to return on the n/b 201 train.     In Cedar 
Rapids we learned that 190 would continue on to Burlington and would not 
meet the n/b enroute between West Branch and Burlington, so we elected 
to continue on.  The conductor on 190 never asked for additional fare.  
Returning from Burlington, the conductor collected tickets and I said "I 
owe you a cash fare from Burlington to West Branch."   The conductor 
replied, "no sir, that ticket reads from Burlington to Waterloo."   Last 
run, rellaxed crews, no one was about to collect a cash fare.
