Maybe the company Store can have someone convert this issue into a PDF that can be sent out to members via a disc or E-Mail.  That way we would have that issue forever, so to speak.

  Digest 10 is out of stock; however, Jack at the Co. Store should have one copy of it to use for making photo copies.

      I rode the nameless successor to the Zephyr Rocket three times in its last year of operation.  My memory is hazy, but I recall the CB&Q unit being switched out at Burlington and replaced with a Rock Island E7.  Obviously the "Q" units sometimes ran through, but never when I rode it.

        Thanks for the great info guys.  I still have one question (for now :) that wasn't answered.


        Did the locomotives for this train run all the way to the ends?  In other words, would you see CB&Q locomotives North of Burlington, IA (all the way to Minneapolis) and CRI&P locomotives South of Burlington (all the way to St. Louis)?
