[RITSlist] RI Silver boxcars

Black lettering would be the norm for the prototype. Why Bev Bel did a run of this car with Pullman green lettering is unknown. As has been mentioned, the Sunshine Models urethene resin kit is most accurate for modeling. (Don't worry, I have a Bev Bel car with black lettering as well as the newer Athearn RTR car too). These are "good enough" cars for most of us. 

The interesting thing is that one of these cars (20060) were repainted in Pullman green (with the Gold lettering). I've seen a photo showing one of these cars in Pullman green somewhere (one of the Morning Sun books maybe) at the LaSalle street area where the express cars were spotted in the early 60's maybe, but I can't find it right now.

RITS has a data sheet on these cars (F-001) from April 1988 that gives some more info on these cars, FWIW. I hope this helps.
