We still get a lot of B&LE [ex-ROCK] coal cars through Syracuse on their way to Gary, IN; or, heading back to Ohio.

  The IAIS and the Crandic each have a couple 50 ft. flats; but, are all used in M of W service, so they don't get off line.  There are still some open hoppers stenciled B&LE around the country; see some on the IAIS and also on the former WC.
  Occasionly a former blue or white boxcar appears.

    I see these almost all the time.

    This begs the question: What former RI cars besides covered hoppers are
    still in use?
    I think we should share non-covered hopper sightings because they will
    disappear before the covered hoppers.
