The CNW did get some of the 2600 cuft airslides but the larger ones went back to lessors is the best I can find. Not if I can get my General American slides from Mr. Harper I can finish my covered hopper article.

IAIS has well-documented DIFCO side dump gons in MOW service and (several?) ex-RI flats also in MOW service. If I recall correctly, IAIS also has several ex-RI 4427 cuft P-S high-side covered hoppers. Not to mention IAIS 400 ex-RI GP 7 or whatever it is these days after smacking its face on the the gravel truck in Coralville.
Obviously, UP has a zillion ex-RI covered hoppers inherited from C&NW as well as many boxcars of various configurations, gondolas, and ballast hoppers all from C&NW.
Did C&NW and UP get any Airlside hoppers, 2-bay covered hoppers, other MOW equipment (cranes, trucks, etc.)? I see a 200 ton (or close) ex-DRGW truck mounted crane parked at Short Line Yard in Des Moines, repainted from DRGW maroon to UP white in the past year or so -- not ex-RI but leads to the question about C&NW or UP inheriting any ex-RI MOW equipment.
