[RITSlist] Red Color of Three Rock Island Locos

Hello,

Thought I'd try this again.

 

RI had three 'red' steam locos; could somebody advise the shade of red used
(all the same or different shades)?

 

Was it bright, SF; dark, GM&O, RI; was it claret; was it near maroon?
