Kelley- Yes, it is the "fireman's" side, F on the left side, taken in El Reno, OK on January 10, 1976.  It shows a very dirty but red end on the F end with gray underframe, fuel tank, trucks etc.  The skirt above the "water tank" is still in place, but missing above the fuel tank.

  You are positive that is the conductor/fireman's side, right?  Not that I have any reason to doubt you.just double checking.



  I'm working on whipping up a 4102 today.  That one appears to be pretty straight forward.remove the rear porthole on the conductor's side, deskirt, add grabs and a roof top oil cooler and assorted parts and paint.  I *should* have construction shots of that later.

  Kelley- I just looked at a shot I have of 4103 (in the same consist as the 4102 I sent); it does have all three portholes, and chicken wire grilles. Otherwise, the lettering extends across the portholes like your 4150.

    Hey All



    I am trying to locate a fireman's side (assuming there was a cab on the unit) shot of F9Bm 4103 in red and yellow.



    I am trying to determine if this side retained all of the portholes like the engineers side (once again, assuming if there was a cab) did, although just about any decent shots of this unit would help.



    I finished a model of Rock Island F9Am 4150 recently and figured I needed a booster unit to go with it, hence the 4103 photo request.
