[RITSlist] Red Color of Three Rock Island Locos

Hello Phillip, 
The info I'm getting is that it was not a conventional engine color.
So, the IHC red may actually be close.  But the effect is something
like---'we'll call this engine Clarabelle', boys & girls'.  It's toylike,
even if accurate.  It's not 'railroad'.
I have pics.  Let me know if interested.

Then again, you could read the whole story, "Locomotives of a Different 
Color", in Vol. 2, No. 3 of REMEMBER THE ROCK.
