I find that rather ironic, because Col Henry Crown died in 1990 also. But once again I never did find out the "date" that crown died and assumed that he died in Chicago.

William M. Gibbons, 71, a Chicago attorney who oversaw the liquidation of the Rock Island Lines, died Wednesday at his home in Gold River, Calif.
The former Barrington resident handled the liquidation in 1984 after spending years attempting to reorganize the financially troubled railroad.
Nicholas Manos, a lawyer who worked with Mr. Gibbons, said the liquidation was one of the most successful in the history of bankruptcy.
"We paid the creditors 100 cents on the dollar," he said. "Henry Crown, the financier, was the biggest shareholder."
In 1975, U.S. District Judge Frank J. McGarr appointed Mr. Gibbons, his former law partner, trustee of the Rock Island Lines when it filed for ...

I know that this is kind of off the wall, but I have been working on updating a paper that I will one day get off to print for the digest or one of the publications. Here are my questions.

I know that William M. Gibbions is dead, but does anybody have any information on a born-death date??? And where he last lived? Since I now have all this info for John Ingram and his recent passing.

Also, does anybody know the death date for Tom Foster?
