I looked for this information for a long time.
No one seemed to have a picture looking down on any of the RI F's or E's giving a clear view to these fans.
According to Phil Wiebler (Phil, please feel free to elaborate and/or correct there assertions), the Cummins radiator design matches the one applied to the CNW F's and E's. I think the blueprints might actually say "CNW" on them. The engineering had already been done, so the RI didn't have to start from scratch.
Here is a link to the best shot of the HEP fans I have ever seen:

This IRM's C&NW #411 during its restoration having the HEP radiators re-installed. What you normally saw from the ground was the side profile of the protective grid
over the fans. The grid looks like step tread and might be able to be replicated with etched roofwalk material (though this would make a fine and welcome detail part, should anyone like to manufacture it).
There are two fans in line with the carbody under this grid, almost FT style, but have a raised lip at the edge like the 36" fans more commonly associated with F-7's and early Geeps without the saucer grille you normally find on that type of fan.
RI units look to have two exhaust stacks on the fireman's side towards the rear of the back plate (the steam generator plate). C&NW used to have external mufflers, but RI just had two stacks with pivoting caps. Again, the RI copied much of the CNW design.
I think the HEP tail-end connections are commercially available. The Nathan P5R24 horn is not.
Good Luck!

Do any of the modelers on this list have any suggestions how to model the HEP cooling fans on the E and F units that were converted to push-pull commuter service. Thanks for any help.
